Stefan Gant

GANTlights are timeless designer lamps with architectural character. Made from materials such as concrete, wood and precious metals, these light fixtures turn rooms into unique interior spaces. Stefan Gant, an architect and product designer originally from Bavaria, created the brand GANTLights in 2012 in Berlin. Combining the cool rigor of concrete and marble with precious metals, he handcrafts objects with minimalist forms and contrasting design elements. Stefan Gant and his team work in the Berlin neighborhood of Rixdorf in a former pastry shop, which he has extensively renovated into the GANTlights showroom, studio and workshop. GANTlights products are now found all around the world, but they are manufactured entirely in Germany – from the smallest component to the packaging. Stefan Gant started by building the lamps all by himself. But as demand for them began to surge, his enterprise quickly grew into a dense network of local artisans and workshops. From the ceramist to the carpenter, all those involved contribute great expertise and care to every single GANTlights product. This keeps the transport routes short, helps protect the environment and directly supports local businesses in Berlin.

GANTlights is a well-established Berlin based designer brand, renowned for its handcrafted luminaries. Experimental forms and highly contrasting materials such as raw concrete and gold are being brought together, resulting in a stunning aesthetic contrast.
