While the fabric has been leather-reinforced to enhance the strength, the foot of the wooden pole is metal-reinforced to protect against wear and scratches when placed in the foot. A double-pulley system makes is easy for everyone to fold up the umbrella – now ready to keep you cool during hot summer days for many years to come.
We are a Danish design company with roots deeply grounded in Scandinavian design and tradition for good craftsmanship. We are owned by Jesper and Vibeke Panduro, who live with their two children in the Northern harbour city of Aalborg. This is where Skagerak was founded too, back in 1976, when the first dreams of making long-lasting design took form.
