Parisian designer Constance Guisset’s Ankara 2009 collection comprises a range of five indoor tables in metal, three of which were initially designed for the Ankara branch of the Institut Français in Turkey.
Redesigned in an all-metal version and enhanced by the addition of two brand new models, the collection is available in eleven colours taken from the designer’s colour wheel. This is the first time that the Lyon brand, a benchmark in metal in-outdoor furniture, has worked with the avant-garde French designer.
Born in 1976, and living and working in Paris, Constance Guisset is a french designer with an original career path.
After studying business and economics at ESSEC and IEP Paris, followed by a year at the parliament of tokyo, she decided to turn her hand to design. Having obtained her diploma from enSci – Les ateliers in 2007, she quickly earned recognition from a variety of sources, including the Grand Prix de design de la Ville de Paris in 2008, the Public Prize at the design Parade de la Villa noailles in 2009, and the title of designer of the Year at the now! design à Vivre and the audi talents award in 2010.

Her creativity finds many different outlets, including stage sets, the design of objects and videos.
Her work revolves around a philosophy of visual illusion and surprise. She devotes her time to the creation of light, lively objects whose elegant fluidity may arouse a feeling of surprise and be a springboard for a moment’s daydreaming.
Constance Guisset is currently working on the creation of a new interior design concept for the Accor-Suite Novotel hotel group, as well as numerous items for italian publishers and luxury french homes..
