The pieces in the collection are selected to inspire us, many tell a story, express a poetic notion, a thought or an experiment, others just make us smile! The pieces are on the boundary between objects of art and mass produced items and many of the products are made to order or produced in small batches by UK based craftspeople.

Mineheart takes its name from the Shakespearian English words 'mine' and 'heart', meaning 'my heart'. This expresses their passion to create freely, without restraint.

Mineheart proudly supports British design and manufacturing. All Mineheart products are produced in the UK by passionate people who enjoy what they do; they hope this love is captured inside their pieces and their quality. Mineheart uses local designers and suppliers whenever possible, this enables more control over production, giving greater flexibility, and the ability to offer custom made variations often at very little additional cost to clients.

Mineheart was launched in 2010 by designers Brendan Young and Vanessa Battaglia of Studiomold and Young & Battaglia. The duo is known for their playful approach to design, and innovative re-appropriation of materials and imagery. They are working with other talented designers to develop new products and continue to develop the growing ‘Lovable Collection’!
