Utu Lighting - Monaco collection
Globe lights glow amongst retro rattan and brass fittings
Brass details enhance rattan mesh and opal glass spheres of light in this customisable lighting system designed and produced by Portuguese brand Utu Lighting.
On show in Paris this week, the Monaco suspension system features spherical glass lights fixed to round brass plates that reflect the warm light. These glow amongst rattan mesh discs set in lacquered brass rings. Each component is fixed to the end of a metal arm and can face in any direction in an unpredictable arrangement of complementary shapes.
As with all of Utu’s collections, the Monaco collection is fully customisable in arrangement and colour. There are three basic configurations which you can use independently, combine to make a larger structure or use as a starting point to create your own.
