Stellar Works - Industry Chair

Neri&Hu design industrial-inspired chairs

In Milan this week, Stellar Works is launching a collection of utilitarian chairs with delicate metal frames designed by the brand’s creative directors Neri&Hu.

The Industry collection includes a dining armchair and a stackable version without arms, as well as a wider lounge chair. Each front and back leg is formed from one piece of metal that gently curves under the padded seat. The arms are also shaped from one piece that curls around the back of the chair, and the end of each armrest is rounded out into a little teardrop shape.

The Chinese brand that's redefining what it means to be “made in China” will launch this collection as part of its any/everyWHERE exhibition in the Tortona Design District. As well as Industry, Stellar Works will show a new tripod table collection by Neri&Hu, and a chunky, curved modular sofa by Space Copenhagen. The exhibition will also feature the reissue of Danish classics by architect Vilhelm Wolhert and furniture designer Jen Risom.

Neri&Hu always create interesting installations for the brand and this year they’re exploring ideas of location and context, prompting visitors to question how interior objects define how we live.

Stop by Via Tortona 31 any day throughout the week between 10am and 9pm to see the new pieces in person.
