Schneid - Figura pendant lights
Clean lines shape minimalist pendant lights
Lighting and accessories brand Schneid has launched a minimalist collection of pendant lights with different shades characterised by clean lines and block colours.
Called Figura, the handmade collection includes three aluminum shades. There’s one with a conical shade, another that’s shaped like a beehive, and the third one is a long, neat arch. They all have aluminium tubes encasing the lower half of the cable, which leads down into the shade.
They come in eight different colours ranging from what the brand is calling desert sand to stronger shades like midnight blue, and you can vary the colour of the cable too.
Brand co-founders Julia and Niklas Jessen create all of Schneid’s products in-house from their studios in a former nineteenth century shipyard in Lubeck, northern Germany. Their designs come to life in playful, unpredictable shapes that are cast in both pastel and more vibrant hues with tactile finishes.
