Gubi - Pacha lounge chair
Gubi’s Pierre Paulin chair now available to order
Danish furniture brand Gubi has re-launched a voluptuous lounge chair created by French designer Pierre Paulin in 1975 and it’s now in production.
Called Pacha, the reissued lounge chair is true to Pierre’s original design, made up of two plump upholstered cushions that create a soft and inviting seat. Its curves are bulbous but neat, with discrete seams running round the seat cushion and up the sides of the back to accentuate its rounded outline. The body is raised off the ground on a metal base that lends a little lightness to the chunky seat, and comes in different finishes. The upholstery is available in a range of fabrics including vibrant prints from Milan manufacturer Dedar.
