Established & Sons - Filigrana Light

Established & Sons previews candy-cane striped pendant lights

Established & Sons has previewed a collection of glass pendant lights adorned with candy-cane coloured stripes by the brand’s design director Sebastian Wrong.

The mouth-blown Filigrana lights are made using the highly-skilled filigree technique from the glassworking island of Murano in Venice. Coloured glass canes are rolled into the surface of each shade and shaped in stages to make each one unique.

The pendants come in three shapes, and the stripes widen and narrow with the width of the shade, honing in at the top and bottom. The pendants have an acid-etched surface that creates a soft, diffused light and are available with red, white or black stripes.

As part of Established & Sons first collection since Sebastian took back the helm, Filigrana was previewed in London last week ahead of its official launch in Milan. The lighting collection was shown alongside four other pieces that will all be available to order as soon as the fair opens next week.
