Established & Sons - Barbican Chaise Longue

Konstantin Grcic designs graphic chaise longue

The renowned German designer has created a graphic chaise longue with a plinth-like base and reversible block coloured cushions for British brand Established & Sons.

Barbican’s foam covered beech wood base is wrapped in a stretchy, knitted and speckled fabric and sits low to the ground on black stained or natural beech feet. It comes as a single unit with a memory foam topper and a cushion, both with different colours on each side. You can combine the chaise with another piece to make a corner sofa that comes with another topper and two more cushions.

When designing Barbican, Konstantin arrived at a pared-back version of his earlier Cape Sofa for the eclectic brand which features a similar low sleek profile draped in a soft fabric cape. He uses bold colours and modular block shapes to characterise the chaise and give you lots of different options to work with.

Barbican was shown at a preview exhibition in London in March before its official launch in Milan in April, and is available to order after the fair.
