Baleri Italia - Roundel table

Concentric circles decorate tabletops

Swedish design practise Claesson Koivisto Rune has created a dining table with concentric circles that radiate through its tempered glass surface over a wide, rounded base.

Produced by Milan brand Baleri Italia, the Roundel table has a thick layer of glass on the surface. The louder version features painted rings of red that radiate out from a black circle at the centre. The glass sits on top of a polyurethane base that’s as wide as the surface before it tapers in towards the chunky round table leg below.

Another more classical version features a black lacquered oak veneer and Nero Marquina marble surface. With this option, the clear layer of glass on top has a black circle painted at the centre, and the plastic base has a soft-polish black lacquer finish.
