Artifort - Moby Pouf

Artifort makes combined pouf and magazine holder

Dutch furniture brand Artifort has made an upholstered pouf that doubles up as a magazine holder, designed by London studio Tej Chauhan.

The blocky pouf, called Moby, is in the shape of a whale and you can slot things down the gap between the body and tail. It’s entirely upholstered and has stitching running round the outer border of the seat in grey, white or black.

Moby is Tej  Chauhan’s first piece of furniture after designing products for a variety of companies including Nokia, British Airways and Panasonic, working on everything from kitchenware to eyewear and televisions. With this background, he brings an acute awareness of user experience design to his furniture, and his debut with Artifort slots seamlessly into the brand’s collection that’s full of soft lines and unexpected shapes.
