Created in the inland Venice area in 1996, from the outset it combined Italian passion for design with a strong international focus and soon became one of the leading companies in the high quality indoor lighting sector. Inspired by the Venetian tradition of glass making, Axo Light has explored the widest possible range of working methods and innovative materials among which bamboo, crystal, fabric, ceramics, metal, cast aluminium and injected ABS. Partnership with Karim Rashid has recently given birth to the Nafir collection, winner of Good Design Award 2012 and Best of Year 2012 Honoree. Nafir is also one finalists of the Spark Product Design Award 2012 and it is been nominated to the GDA- German Design Award 2014.

Within the other Axo Light collections, Muse is the winner of Good Design Award 2009; Rythmos is finalist for the Best of the Year Award 2013 and Spiry is the winner of the Good Design 2013. Axo Light offers three extremely striking ranges to suit any environment, whether modern or traditional, public or private. The Axo Light range, real light icons whose distinctive feature is their elegant manufacture, combined with attention to detail. The company culture and philosophy emerge extremely clearly: Axo Light creations are never solely governed by market logic, but each one is the result of inspiration.
