Hawkins\Brown is a London based architectural practice formed in 1988 by Roger Hawkins and Russell Brown. Since then we have grown steadily over the years to 15 partners and over 80 staff.

We are a creative progressive award-winning studio that has a reputation as one of the leading design based architectural practices in the UK. Recently named AJ100 Practice of the Year 2011, Hawkins\Brown has never limited its architecture to a particular style type or scale of work. We bring a bespoke collaborative approach to our projects and a determinedly broad experience of building universities, schools, transport, housing, offices and arts projects across the UK and increasingly in Europe and further afield.

In 2010 we published Ideas Exchange: The Collaborative Studio of Hawkins\Brown, presenting the recent work of the practice, communicating our philosophy that architecture benefits from the contributions of and collaboration with the wider team, including engineers, clients, artists, other architects and designers.

Our work is regularly in the Media; published in the design press, local and national papers and in international magazines. In addition Roger and Russell regularly contribute to and write for a number of architectural magazines and increasingly have been broadcast on television and radio.
